Baker's Racks

Not Just For the Kitchen!

Baker's racks were first used in bakeries as a place for hot baked goods to cool. The metal shelving is heat conducting which allows for the heat to quickly be transferred from baking pan/dish to shelves. Traditionally baker's racks were made pf wrought iron but now a days can be made from many different materials and may include special shelving for wine and/or other storage.

Just like with various other pieces of furniture, a BAKERS RACK can serve many purposes.
